Ditiola radicata

Context hyphae filamentous, smooth, moderately thick-walled, widely separated by gelatinization, very slender (2 to 3 µm wide), septate with simple septa mostly lacking clamp connections.

Basidia tuning-fork-shaped (furcate), 2-spored.

Spores cylindrical to slightly allantoid, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with a prominent eccentric apiculus at one end, predominantly 3-septate transversally at maturity.
