Dacrymyces spathularius

Contextual hyphae corresponding to a monomitic hyphal system with only generative hyphae, slender, branched, separated by gelatinization, septate without clamp connections (simple septa).

Basidia furcate, with two thick sterigmata and without basal clamp connections.

Spores ellipsoidal to slightly allantoid, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with a lateral apiculus at one end, mostly presenting a distinct transverse septum at maturity.
