Cytospora longiostiolata
Norph., Bulgakov, T.C.Wen & K.D.Hyde

Study description
Pycnidia with one or few locules immersed in the host substrate, with long ostiolar necks that give rise to its specific epithet (longiostiolata).
Conidiophores formed of hyaline, unbranched hyphae—a feature that distinguishes it from many of its congeners which usually have branched conidiophores—arranged in parallel and arising from the inner wall of the conidioma.
Conidia cylindrical to slightly allantoid, hyaline and thin-walled.
