Setiform terminal elements of the pileipellis thick-walled, multiseptate, with brown intracellular pigment.
Sterile terminal elements acting as cheilocystidia on the lamellar edge, up to 30 µm long, polymorphic, cylindrical to lageniform, some bifurcate.
Basidia clavate, short, up to 22 µm long, with basal clamp connections, 4-spored.
Spores subcylindrical to ellipsoidal, slightly fusiform, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with an eccentric apiculus at one end, slightly guttulate, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
