Coprinellus disseminatus
(Pers.) J.E.Lange

Study description
Cellular cutis formed by spherical hyaline hyphae and a large number of terminal hyphae functioning as pileocystidia, cylindrical, very elongated and with rounded apices.
Stipe hyphae hyaline, arranged parallel and without clamp connections.
Cheilocystidia not observed, although literature reports that the lamellar edge may present some pyriform terminal cells that readily detach.
Basidia clavate, small, markedly widened at the apex, 4-spored.
Spores ellipsoidal to mitriform, dark brown in water, smooth, thick-walled, with a sharply pointed end bearing the lateral apiculus, and a conspicuous truncated germ pore at the other end.
