(Romagn.) P.Roux, Guy García & Borgarino

Study description
Species associated with burnt ground and charred soils.
Cellular cutis, with spherical to slightly angular hyphae, hyaline, without observed pileocystidia, all observed tissues with simple septa (without clamp connections).
Caulocystidia scattered, of varied morphology, especially on the upper stipe, some pyriform, others cylindrical, even sublageniform and ventricose.
Universal veil hyphae cylindrical, constricted at the septa, with ochraceous brown intracellular pigment.
Cheilocystidia abundant, ovoid to pyriform, and scattered pleurocystidia of enormous size with similar morphology to the cheilocystidia.
Basidia cylindric-clavate and 4-spored.
Spores ellipsoidal, brown under the microscope in water, smooth, thick-walled, with an inconspicuous lateral apiculus at one end, a germ pore at the opposite end and a large internal lipid droplet.
