Hymeniform cutis composed of spherical to pyriform hyphae, hyaline or with only slight ochraceous intracellular pigment.
Caulocystidia present in the upper stipe, cylindrical, slightly sinuous and with rounded apices.
Cheilocystidia lecythiform and hyaline. The width measurements indicated here correspond to the width of the capitulum, not the broadest part of the belly.
Basidia cylindrical to clavate, only very slightly widened at the apex, 4-spored.
Spores ellipsoidal, smooth, thick-walled, ochraceous under the microscope, with an inconspicuous apiculus at one end and a prominent truncated germ pore at the opposite end, markedly darkening in KOH.
