Study description
Species characterized by fruiting on decaying basidiomata of other fungi.
Filamentous pileipellis, formed by hyaline, interwoven hyphae with simple septa, without clamp connections.
Lamellar edge without clearly differentiated elements from basidia or basidioles, although it may present some hair-like elements projecting slightly above the level of the basidia.
Basidia short, up to 30 µm long, 4-spored.
Spores ellipsoidal, hyaline, thin-walled, with longitudinal ridges characteristic of the genus, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
