Clavicorona taxophila

Monomitic hyphal system with trama hyphae smooth, hyaline, arranged more or less parallel and without clamp connections.

Gloeocystidia cylindrical, large, arising from the trama, with slight refractive content and generally not projecting above the level of the basidia.

Basidia small (up to just over 25 µm), clavate, 4-spored, with basal clamp connections.

Spores subglobose to short ellipsoidal, smooth, hyaline, thin-walled, with a prominent lateral apiculus, containing an oil droplet, inamyloid in Melzer's reagent.
