Calcarisporium arbuscula

Parasitic fungus occurring on stromata of other fungi, particularly on Hypoxylon.

Conidiogenous hyphae hyaline, branched, with an appearance very similar to Verticillium.

Conidia arise at the tips of these hyphae; these conidia are ellipsoidal to slightly fusiform, with one end more pointed, hyaline and thin-walled.
