Peridial hyphae of textura angularis, heavily pigmented with dark brown.
Asci clavate, biseriate, bitunicate and 8-spored.
Paraphyses or pseudoparaphyses short, hyaline, septate, constricted at the septa and unbranched.
Ascospores ellipsoidal to fusiform, some with more pointed ends, hyaline, containing granular content inside.
