Study description
Thallus scarce, greyish, without reaction when applying KOH.
Asci 8-spored, with a strong amyloid reaction in Melzer's reagent, not reacting with KOH.
Paraphyses filiform, septate, slightly branched at the tip, covered by an amorphous mass.
Ascospores ellipsoidal, thin-walled, hyaline and 2-celled (polarilocular).
