Marginal hairs hyaline, septate, up to 110 µm long, 3 to 5 µm wide, with some crystalline encrustations on their surface that dissolve in KOH.
Asci 8-spored with ascospores arranged in parallel inside, 70 to 90 µm long, 8 to 10 µm wide, with croziers at their base and an amyloid reaction of their apical apparatus in Melzer's reagent.
