Capillitium threads very thick-walled, slightly pigmented and aseptate.

Basidia cylindrical to clavate, 4-spored according to the literature.

Spores spherical, smooth, thick-walled, brown under the microscope, with a large lipid droplet inside and without a clearly visible apiculus.
