Antrodia macra

Hyphal system dimitic, with thick-walled skeletal hyphae and clamped generative hyphae, both 2 to 4 µm wide.

Without cystidia, but presenting scattered pointed cystidioles, smaller than the basidia.

Basidia clavate and 4-spored.

Spores cylindrical to oblong-ellipsoidal, of considerable size, thin-walled, with a lateral apiculus and faint granular content inside.
