Cuticle (pileipellis) filamentous, with hyphae provided with ochraceous intracellular pigment, interwoven and devoid of clamp connections.
Cheilocystidia pyriform, clavate and hyaline.
Basidia clavate and 4-spored.
Spores smooth, brown under the microscope, ovoid to amygdaliform, thick-walled, with a large droplet inside and a lateral apiculus.
