Agaricus comtulus

Pileipellis filamentous, composed of slightly interwoven hyphae, hyaline and with simple septa, without clamp connections.

Lamellar edge without differentiated elements, comprising only basidia and basidioles.

Basidia clavate and 4-spored.

Spores ellipsoidal, very pale purplish-brown under the microscope, thick-walled, with one or several droplets inside and a discreet lateral apiculus.
