Naucoria bohemica
Velen.

Study description
Species with a pileus between 10 and 40 mm in diameter. Its shape evolves from conical or campanulate to convex, retaining an umbo or central protrusion. The surface is smooth, hygrophanous (changing colour according to humidity) and somewhat shiny or viscid on the disc when moist. Its colour varies from intense reddish-brown (darker at the centre), becoming paler towards the margin, which is usually striate at maturity.
A markedly hygrophilous species that appears in very damp or periodically flooded areas.
The absence of clamp connections, predominantly 2-spored basidia, and the size and wartiness of its spores make it easily identifiable under the microscope.
The specimens studied here were found in a flood-prone area under Salix atrocinerea in late May in the municipality of Zeanuri (Biscay).
