Myochromella boudieri
(Kühner & Romagn.) V.Hofst., Clémençon, Moncalvo & Redhead

Study description
This species has historically been placed in other genera, such as Tephrocybe or Lyophyllum, among others.
It is characterized by a pileus up to 4 cm in diameter, smooth, hygrophanous, ranging from dark grey to brownish, and with a prominent umbo.
It features crowded lamellae that turn from white to greyish or brownish tones. Flesh is scanty, with farinaceous odor and taste.
This species can be found from summer to autumn, in small groups, in coniferous or broadleaf woods.
The microscopic study is based on a collection made in December under Pinus sylvestris and Pinus radiata in Zigoitia (Álava). Another image is included from a subsequent find in October under Chamaecyparis lawsoniana in Berriz (Bizkaia).
