Laccaria macrocystidiata
(Migl. & Lavorato) Pázmány

Study description
A well-characterized species possessing very long cystidia reaching over 70 µm in length, which readily separates it from similar taxa such as L. affinis or L. laccata.
The pileus, which can measure up to 4 cm across, is reddish, orange, or pinkish and covered with fine scales or squamules.
It is a rarely recorded Laccaria, known to me from only a single site where I observe it annually in late autumn: a mown meadow bordering mature specimens of Quercus robur in the municipality of Erandio (Bizkaia).
