Inocybe pseudodestricta
Stangl & J.Veselský

Study description
Robust-looking species with a pileus reaching up to 5 cm across, reddish-brown and covered with radiating fibrils that give it a striate appearance. The stipe is whitish to pinkish, particularly towards the apex.
It was long known under the name Inocybe destricta, but that name has subsequently been considered a nomen dubium, making I. pseudodestricta the correct designation.
This fungus can be found from late autumn to early spring, typically under conifers.
The specimens presented here were collected growing in sandy ground under Pinus pinaster in late March in Oña (Burgos).
