Inocybe bresadolae
Massee

Study description
Species with a conical to campanulate pileus bearing a prominent central umbo. Pileus colour is typically brownish or yellowish-ochre, occasionally with dark scales during early developmental stages.
Exudes an aromatic or fruity odour which, combined with a slight reddening tendency with maturity, aids in its identification.
A rare and infrequently recorded Inocybe of deciduous woodlands, which we have had the good fortune to find on two occasions, always under oaks (Quercus).
The microscopic images correspond to a collection gathered in June in the municipality of Zigoitia (Álava), under Quercus faginea.
Another photograph is included from an earlier collection made in July under Quercus robur in Espinosa de los Monteros (Burgos).
