Entoloma hebes
(Romagn.) Trimbach

Study description
A medium-sized species belonging to section Nolanea, with a cap reaching up to 5 cm in diameter. The stipe is considerably longer, occasionally reaching nearly 15 cm.
Species in this section require thorough microscopic analysis, as several taxa share similar macroscopic characteristics. Important details include the presence or absence of cystidia, as well as spore size and morphology.
The specimens presented in this study were collected in late December under Abies pinsapo and Quercus faginea in the locality of Zalduondo (Álava).
