Entoloma excentricum
Bres.

Study description
This is a rather rare species within its genus. This Entoloma is typically white, whitish, or sometimes with darker tinges tending toward pale brown. Its cap can reach nearly 8 cm in diameter, and its stipe, from which its name derives, is often eccentric (not located in the center).
One of the most important diagnostic characters for its identification lies in its microscopy, with large lageniform to fusiform cheilocystidia crowned by a long neck.
The specimens studied here were found in late August in Areatza (Bizkaia), growing in a grassy area along a track edge near specimens of Chamaecyparis lawsoniana.
